President's Letter
Welcome to the Brevard County Estate Planning Council! Before our season kicks off, many thanks to our immediate Past President, Mark Boyd, and our new and returning Board members for their service to our Council. Over the past two years, their vision and volunteer work have delivered results: a revamped website, enhanced online membership portal, an engaging, more varied schedule, and a growing group – we’re now at 50 members! As a Council, we remain committed to the highest professional standards deserving of client trust in the planning, execution, and administration of estates. Again this year, you can look forward to valuable and enjoyable opportunities to network, build relationships, and learn about interesting and timely estate planning topics. A preview of this season's program will be on our website soon, please mark your calendars now with the dates below. While you’ll receive email invitations and reminders during the year, please make special note of locations and timing, as we’re continuing with a mix of daytime and evening events and exploring new venues. Remember that in addition to these five gatherings, your BCEPC membership entitles you to add the Council as a professional affiliation to your CV, provides you with access to a members-only directory, and offers networking opportunities with local and regional professionals in the field. Just like the best estate planning practices, our Council grows with quality through word of mouth and referrals from fellow professionals like you. Please forward this information to a colleague who may be interested in joining the Council. Feel free to reach out to me or any of my fellow BCEPC board members throughout the year.
